Clean up all food for pets after each feeding and store where it is unavailable to rodents. Keep all vegetation closely mowed around buildings. Remove bushes, shrubs, rocks, boards, and debris lying close to the ground, as these provide cover for rodents and snakes. Alter your landscape to reduce areas required for basking.
